AkronDiamond E is a premium FOGRA Approved isopropanol reducing fountain solution concentrate designed for sheet-fed presses with alcohol & integrated dampening systems.

    • Designed for printing with low isopropanol; enables you to "GO GREEN".
    • Free of VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds); for a cleaner & safer pressroom.
    • Digiral & Analog plate safe; for zero plate cancellation.
    • Contains corrosion inhibitors; to safeguard expensive metal press parts.
    • Formulated with high-performance anti-piling properties; to reduce press downtime.
    • Enables fast clean-up and rapid attainment of ink-water balance; for reduced start-up wastage.
    • Designed to achieve optimum water settings; to ensure sharper. denser prints.
    • Effective Biocide system; for prolonged bath life & minimal effluent generation.
    • Depending on usage condition, add abetween 2% - 4% concentrate in water (20ml-40ml concentrate in one litre of water)
    • Ideal dilution depends on press speed, type of dampening system, ink type and paper quality.
    • Use a freshly calibrated conductivity meter, for accurate dosing control. Ensure that the mixed fountain solution is within +100 µs of the pre-determined mix.
    • Mechanical dosing devices for IPA are not recommended. Use an electronic dosing device for dosing IPA below 5%, for greater press stability.
    • To ensure optimum tray life, thoroughly clean the dosing, circulation and feeding systems with Fount System Cleaner and deglaze ink train and dampening rubber rollers, before charging freshly mixed solution.
    • Recommended IPA dosage - 4% - 8%
    • Storage&Handling             :    Store away from direct sunlight, between5°C-30°C in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed when not in use. The use of Nitrile hand gloves & safety glasses is recommended. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
