Powder Fount Concentrate

Powder fount for use in conventional dampening systems

Powder Fount Concentrate is a fountain solution in powder form designed to work in conventional dampening systems

    • Strongly buffered; to ensure consistent print quality
    • Enables fast clean-up & rapid ink-water balance; for reduced start-up wastage
    • Good de-sensitisation property; to keep plates open on press during press stoppages even at high ambient temperature

     

     

     

     

    • Dissolve the entire 300 gm contents in 5 litre of water or dilute 6% to make fountain solution concentrate.
    • This fountain solution can be added at 2-3% to make a working solution.
    • Ideal dilution depends on press speed, type of dampening system, ink type and paper quality.
    • Use a freshly calibrated conductivity meter, for accurate dosing control. Ensure that the mixed fount solution is within ± 100 µs of the pre-determined mix.
    • To ensure optimum tray life, thoroughly clean the dosing, circulation and feeding systems with Fount System Cleaner and deglaze ink train and dampening rubber rollers, before charging freshly mixed solution.
    • Storage & Handling : Protect from direct sunlight. Store at moderate temperatures in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the containers tightly closed when not in use. The use of safety gloves is recommended.
    • Shelf-life : 12 months from the date of manufacture
    • Packing : 300gms
    • Precautions : Avoid contact with skin and eyes
