AquaShield 304 HV is a water-based gloss coating suitable for single side applications. The coated material has a good water-resistance and rub resistance, also suitable for work requiring subsequent UV varnishing. Tests should be conducted with the specific UV lacquer to be used.

AquaShield 307 is a specialized water-based primer suitable for application on metallised substrates to improve adhesion of subsequent printing and/or coating. Trials must be conducted to find the suitability of primer with the metallised substrate to be used. AquaShield 307 is not suitable as a top coat.

Azura Cleanout Gum is ready-to-use neutral water based gum for Azura TS & Azura TU Thermofuse plates.

The non image areas of an Azura plate are easily removed by application of the gum and the use of simple brush rollers. This is a PHYSICAL PROCESS, as opposed to the conventional wet chemical process for “traditional” digital plates. The gum has a dual role: washing the non image areas away and protecting the grained and anodized aluminium.
